Does me no good. This app is uncluttered, simple and all I need when I travel. Ex animo, Alexis Bernabe. From design to features, it would be the best out there. But it constantly freezes as soon as it opens. It works about 2 out of 5 times, so it gets two stars. Weather channel shows otherwise.
Sometimes just gotta stick with the old. Sick and tired of it! But recent versions seemed to be poorly coded. Now I am going to delete It app and use something else. Like a cartoon app. Am going to delete. Works great with both my iPhone and iPad devices. It provides a significant amount of details about the weather yet it's simple to use. It's a free App to download and use so the ads are there but don't interfere with the user experience.
I don't remember ever giving a free A Five stars but because it does everything very well! Very well organized by Hello It gives me all of the information which I need in one place.
Works very well with both iPad and iPhone. Needs active live radar sweep. Like everyone other app. You want to be the primer weather app add live active storm tracking weather to the map so people can zoom into a towns streets to see if the storm hail , tornado is tracking toward their location, this would be a life saving feature. Where as the loop is useless in those situations. Looked at various apps and tried this one.
Gives me all I need to know and the ads are hardly noticeable. Use it everyday and am very pleased with it. I showed it to all the people at my office, too, and now everyone is as addicted to the Yahoo! Weather as I am. Please keep up the great work. Hopefully this will be fixed soon. I hope you consider my request.
Others to would find it helpful. Everything works and I am happy with this app, good work to all the people at Yahoo. All predictions - even short-term ones -are plagued with considerable error. Not worth the aggravation. Aesthetically pleasing design and great radar. Otherwise would have given 5 stars. The only thing I really miss is the look ahead radar.
Another thing would to be able to slow the radar animation down. Maybe I have just missed it. Overall it is better than some others I have looked at. Neat wind turbines graphic that appear to actually increase and decrease speed according to the speed. I also love the fully functioning animated radar. The Weather Channel one never worked on my iPad so I finally switched.
Very happy I did. It's uncluttered, easy to read and intuitive to navigate. It's easy to add other cities and appears to be reasonably accurate. I would recommend this if you don't need the fancy bells and whistles the other weather apps have.
The forecasts seem more accurate than the ones available on other apps. Super disappointing since this is my favorite and the best looking weather app. Sometimes it depends to load he map but only a couple of squares are shown up. Useless at the moment. And terrible hat yahoo has no customer service etc.
It is almost invariably wrong and has to correct its predictions continuously up to a couple hours before. A shame because I like the functionality, look and layout of the app. But the point of a weather app is to forecast the weather. Every two weeks I delete it and download the app again to try to fix it, yet and it still remains frozen 1 of 2 things happen every time I re-download the app.
It asks me to turn on notifications every time as soon as I open it I say no half the time the app crashes immediately and the other half the time the app freezes The only reason I keep the app on my phone is to keep this review live if I delete the app this review gets deleted. Used to submit fairly verbose update info for each new version.
They haven't done that while updating in a year. Every new version is "bug fixes and enhancements". The last version added huge HUGE full screen ads that you have to scroll past to get to more detailed content. Once upon a time it was no ads. Then they added ads. Then they stopped talking about specific features added or removed. Then they added bigger ads. Then they added the user experience-killing full screen ads. Do you see where this is going?
I've already gone back to Apple's clean weather app while I look at other options. It regularly reports the weather degrees lower than other reports. Boo because I like how easy it is. I love the photos in this app, but the full-page ad and privacy issues caused me to delete it after using it for years. I used to love this app! I deleted it once, left it for awhile, then reinstalled hoping it might work. You should be sorry to see me go.
Brand new Apple Watch. Location on my phone updates fine. Same temp, same location. On iPhone 7 it constantly freezes up. May have to discard this one for now.
Used to be the best weather app! The app is still just as pretty as before, but the data is garbage. The temperature is far off, today for example ten degrees lower than the Apple app reports, the billboard outside my window reports, and lower than it feels. In other words, it's wrong.
It says it's raining when it's not, it reports no rain in the forecast when I can see rain outside my window. I've tried both selecting the city as well as using "current location", and those report roughly the same things. As a weather app, then, it's useless.
Plus, fantastic new crashes-every-single-time-feature! Feels lightweight, great user experience and photos, and gives me the basic weather info I need. The weather maps always seem delayed, though, so I can only rate it 4 stars.
You would think there would be some kind of background work they could do to prevent this. Otherwise I really enjoy the features of this app. This is a Great App Is there a add-free paid version? The app has a nice interface. The information has been accurate. During my continuous travels to different city and states, pre-setting up the different locations is convenient.
